{ Vintage Inspired 4th of July Table Decor, Change-ups & More..}

Happy Wednesday or 'hump day" , I hate that phrase ha-ha!! I can't believe it's already the middle of the week!! It's been another fall day here in the north..no complaints other than the sun could be out ;) ! A few nights ago via Instagram { https://instagram.com/thequaintsanctuary/ } I posted a picture of our updated kitchen decor & well, I didn't stop there.. I ended up moving 12 chairs around { Yes, we have 2 dining spaces , 2 tables & 3 sets of chairs } & believe me it was quite the workout at 2am ha-ha! I wasn't feeling the wood chairs from our lower-level , so I switched them up with our classic & actually my favorite set ,the white parson chairs from +IKEA USA !!  After I switched out the chairs I ended up switching out our curtains from the living-room  to the kitchen. I don't know whyyyyyyyy I waited or didn't think of this sooner, but I'm in love!!! Curtains  are always an issue for me, kinda like rugs  ,so when I finally get it right it feels GREAT!  I moved the cream canvas grommet curtains into the living room & the white/ blue/grey striped ones from the living into the dining space! I hemmed them a bit { pinned them back, because we all know I don't sew.. ;) } & they look perfect! The ease of the grommets in the living room with the bamboo shades are so much better & the striped curtains now in the dining look perfect & add texture!!  So needless to say I've been busy switching up / cleaning up some spaces for a fresh summer look!!

 I forgot I had these cute tea towels from my grams. They look perfect with the 4th decor, yet are still neutral enough for this space & p.s who doesn't love some fresh cherries?!

As mentioned above I wasn't feeling the chairs, curtains, or decor I first blogged a while back..so I switched it it up!! I forgot I also had this vintage +Pillsburydough container, & when I came across it while rummaging in our stock pile, I had to use it!! I kept the original flowers & just added this container & the Amish check bowl.

I added some patriotic colored tea towels to the ladder & took away the flowers, for now!

Side Note: Everything used on the table with the exception of the jute Better Homes and Gardens place mats & the tablecloth, everything is either free finds or thrifts!

This was hard to photograph, but I wanted to give a full picture.  I know it's a bit dark & the table will be moved over. The base of the table looks perfect with the new curtains, chairs & decor. It's hard to see, but it's chalk painted blue & grey { custom mixed color} & lightly distressed with brown undertones.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great rest of the week!!
